Why use Statcounter.com?
Obviously I’m a Statcounter fan for many years now and it had never failed me tracking my websites visitors. Yah, it’s websites I have a lot of them. You see, tha’ts one of its great feature you can have many sites under one account, just like Google Analytics? Well, I’m also using it to some of my sites but it’s like an overrate tracking sites for me. And btw, I’ve also used Sitemeter, which (correct me if I’m wrong) doesn’t support multiple sites in one account.
Here are some of the best reasons I can share why I like Statcounter, just include what I’ve said earlier.
- It’s free
- Excludes your own visit by providing your IP
- User friendly interface
- Easy installation (installation from different platform provided)
- Lots of statistical information (by country, browsers including different versions, keyword analysis with position indicator)
Actually, there’s a lot more the Statcounter could offer. Also, I’m already using it’s beta version which will be rolled out anytime soon. Here are some of the latest features .
Date Range Selector for all stats – identify, for example, which Search Engines were used to find your site yesterday. Or last week. Or compare last week and this week. Etc.
Simplified Code Generation Process – get your code more quickly. Reinstallation is much easier too.
Quicker Sign Up for New Members – fewer clicks, more intuitive process – now you can feel even better about recommending us to your friends and colleages
Hourly Stats – based on the log file – watch the hour-by-hour traffic trends on your site.
Project Dropdown List – simply toggle between your projects when viewing your stats.
Improved Browser Stats – now it’s even easier to monitor the most popular browser families and browser versions used to view your site. Read more here.
