Samsung releases its new tablet – the Galaxy Note 10.1

Unhampered by the ongoing trial against Apple, Samsung releases it’s newest tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.

Powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 to 32 GB of internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is well poised to take its place among the popular tablets of today. The new 10.1-inch WXGA (1280 x 800) LDC touchscreen which has a digitizer will give users a better handheld experience. The new Galaxy Note will have Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as its OS. But the feature that is highlighted by Samsung is the Galaxy Note’s stylus called the S Pen.

Tim Baxter, president of Samsung Electronics America says more about the S Pen:

“Our goal with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 was simple – redefine the tablet experience. The S Pen offers both active content creation as well as passive content consumption, while the Multiscreen capability finally enables true multitasking. For the user, the resulting experience is completely new and quite unexpected.”

Another highlight feature of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is its multi-screen ability which allows users to simultaneously run two different applications.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is priced at $499 for the 16 GB, and $549 for the 32 GB.
