New Twitter UI..

Have you checked your Twitter today?

I’ve checked mine and noticed the homepage was a drastic change. You wouldn’t see a the global map anymore.

What’s catchy to me is the image which appears to be locals from India playing cricket.

Upon login, you will start seeing what you’re not used to. Let’s start digging to new Twitter design?

Now, let’s look closely from the new Twitter’s user interface(UI), Upon logging in, you will see the image below.

Noticed the huge change? Obviously, the who to follow box, Trending topics and your profile detail (# of tweets, following and followers).  How about the former Activity? Now, it’s accessible via @Connect menu which will then show latest interactions to you which includes the latest person who followed you and tweeted you using @.

Interestingly, the design for the Trending topic which can be viewed by checking the # Discover has now changed its look a lot. But wait, it looks very similar to its mobile- based layout.  One thing that makes the Trending or #Discover page of Twitter looks good is that the images pertaining to trending Tweet. It’s more a blog/news post like, isn’t it?
