Google Doodle Today : Philippines 114th Independence Day
Google joins the Filipinos as they celebrate The Philippines 114th Independence Day as the giant search engine site replace its logo with Google doodle of Philippine flag.
On June 12, 1898 in Kawit, Cavite, Philippines, the Act of the Declaration of Independence was read in public headed by Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo. According to history, the Philippines became a colonial rule of Spain for more than three hundred years. It all begins in Miguel Lopez de Legazpi’s expedition in this country February 13,1565 until the Spanish fully established a political unification of almost the whole archipelago.
Aside from real-world events, Filipinos also celebrates tweets via Twitter Happy Independence Day keyword became number one trending topic from the said micro-blogging site.
