Google Doodle Today : Peter Carl Fabergé’s 166th Birthday

In honor to Peter Carl Fabergé’s 166th Birthday, Google doodle today designed in the style of genuine Easter eggs.

Peter Carl Fabergé was born  May 30, 1846 at Saint Petersburg and died: September 24, 1920, Lausanne. With children, Agathon Fabergé, Nicholas Fabergé, Alexander Fabergé, Eugène Fabergé from his wife Augusta Julia Jacobs.

According to his entry at Wikipedia, Peter Carl Fabergé was a world famous master jeweler and head of the ‘House of Faberge’ in Imperial Russia  in the waning days of the Russian Empire.

Peter Carl Fabergé also known as Karl Gustavovich Fabergé in Russia was a Russian jeweller, best known for the famous Fabergé eggs, made in the style of genuine Easter eggs, but using precious metals and gemstones rather than more mundane materials.
