Facebook to steal the idea of Google+ Circle?

It seems the social networking war between Google+ and Facebook is about to start.

For the past two days, Google+ has been making headlines from different tech sites. Yesterday, TechCrunch posts Facebook Engineers Build Google+ Inspired Facebook Hack seems very intriguing and only shows that Facebook is pretty aware what’s going to happened next.

Google+’s Circle feature is something that’s missing in Facebook and it might be reason to dethrone Facebook from social networking dominance.google+_vs_facebook

Video Chat.

Another interesting post yesterday, also from Techcrunch, Facebook Will Launch In-Browser Video Chat Next Week In Partnership With Skype. Well, Google’s answer to that is their video chat feature available in Gmail that has been around quite a long time. Facebook is rushing up to release their video chat though as they planned to lunched next Wednesday.

Mark Zuckerberg joined Google+?

IBTimes posted today about Mark Zuckerberg joining Google+ to steal idea. Though it wasn’t confirmed that he’s the real Mark, but many speculates that he might be joining Google+ to steal the idea of Circles.

You see, Google+’s Circle is a great way to manage your friends list. I’ve tried it earlier when I noticed that Google Picasa web albums were all available in public. Immidiately, I moved those pictures inteded for public and for my family. Btw, by default you’ll have five circles namely Family, Friends, Acquintances, Following and Blocked.

In my very first post about Google+, I was a bit doubtful about Google+’s success but as soon as I’ve got my invitation and started to explore, I’ve already changed my mind.

Also, Tom Anderson, founder of MySpace posted in his Google+ account, “primed to make good on that original premise – that everything gets better when [it’s] social.” Anderson anticipates Google+ will beat Facebook here.
