Facebook : Bigger, Faster Photos

In a blog post by Facebook’s Product Manager Justin Shaffer it says that it has introduces new features on photo.

According to the blog post, Facebook has increases the cropping size of photos uploaded by users from 720pixels to 960 pixels and will load faster. But wait there’s more, it will not only affect the newly uploaded photos but also those uploaded before the new feature.

Another interesting update is the cleaner version of Facebook’s theater view of photo. Before, the default background of quick view of photos was black. The background has been change into white that will put users focus on photo and less on its frame. The modification was based on users feedback says in a blog post.
