Using my Motorola Fire XT today, I was surprised that Android Market went missing and prompts me with Application not installed.
As it just turns out with the help of Google, it is now called as Google Play while Play Shop on my menu.
According to news, the move from Android Market to Google Play Store started last Tuesday. It seems not all Android-based gadgets was not automatically updated, especially mine.
When I have phone updated, Play Shop becomes available and ready to download Android apps.
As the Google Play rolls out, Google now intends to serve not just mobile apps but from music or album to e-books. With that, the Android Market visitors will start noticing not just mobile apps but other digital contents.
Obviously, Google’s move is to establish a one-stop shop and possibly integrating Google Music store and enticed more content providers other mobile apps developers.
